My complete FSL experience at TDYNA
This section summarizes, in English, everything I did during my three training periods at TDYNA S.R.L.: industrial electronics, inventory software development, database management, testing, automation and personal growth.
From school knowledge to real technical work
My FSL experience took place at TDYNA S.R.L., an innovative company connected to Meridionale Impianti and specialized in the assembly and testing of advanced machines for electronic component validation. The company works in a highly technical environment, where precision, reliability and organization are essential.
During this path I had the opportunity to connect what I learned at school with real company activities. I worked with electronic boards, professional measuring instruments, software tools, cloud databases and embedded systems. The experience helped me understand how different technical areas can work together inside an industrial process.
The three FSL periods
Each period had a specific focus, but all of them were connected by the same goal: learning how technology is used in a real professional environment.
Industrial electronics, assembly and testing
During the first period I entered a real company environment for the first time. I worked in the electronics area, taking part in several production and testing phases. This period helped me understand the importance of precision, method and respect for technical procedures.
Inventory web app and cloud database
During the second period I moved from electronics to software development. The main objective was to design and develop a web application for the company inventory, making product consultation more organized, faster and easier to manage.
Optimization, real data and thermal control
During the third period I consolidated the work done before and developed a more complete view of the system. I worked on software validation, real warehouse data insertion and an automation project for temperature control during electronic component testing.
What I learned from a technical point of view
The experience allowed me to develop both electronics and software skills. I learned that a reliable technical project depends on accurate assembly, correct measurements, structured data, testing and continuous improvement.
Electronics and measurement
I used and observed professional tools such as oscilloscopes, function generators, testers and continuity instruments. These tools are essential to analyze signals, verify connections and identify possible faults on electronic boards.
Software and database
I worked on the logic of an inventory application, on the organization of product information and on the connection with Firebase. JSON helped me understand how data can be structured and exchanged between the app and the cloud database.
Embedded and automation
Through Arduino programmed in C, I studied how a sensor value can be read, compared with a target and used to control a relay. This showed me how software can directly manage a physical process.
Personal growth during the three stages
Alongside technical skills, the experience helped me improve the way I work, communicate and solve problems in a professional context.
Collaboration
I learned to work with tutors and technicians, ask questions and contribute to a shared goal.
Precision
Cabling, soldering, testing and data entry showed me that details can strongly affect the final result.
Problem solving
Software bugs and hardware checks taught me to analyze issues, find the cause and test possible solutions.
Autonomy
Period after period I became more independent, learning to organize my work and focus on concrete results.
About Lorenzo Marrocolo
My name is Lorenzo Marrocolo, I am 18 years old and I attend the Istituto Tecnico Tecnologico "Allievi Sangallo" in Terni, specializing in Electronics and Electrotechnics. I am curious, determined and passionate about technology, electronics and programming.
I enjoy understanding how systems work, improving them and turning ideas into real projects. My main interests are programming, electronics, innovation and finance. I am also interested in artificial intelligence, IoT, automation, blockchain and fintech, because these fields connect technology with real-world applications.
The FSL experience at TDYNA confirmed that I want to keep developing a profile that combines software, hardware and problem solving. It helped me become more aware of my strengths, the skills I still want to improve and the direction I would like to follow in the future.
